Nicky Schlanger went up with the ball and tear-dropped it into the hoop, giving the YULA Panthers a 57-46 lead with a minute remaining. After the Posnack Rams had cut a 14 point lead to just 6 points late in the third quarter, YULA finally broke away. Albert Fallas' old fashioned three point play and a Noam Meisels layup gave YULA a 46-35 lead in the fourth quarter.
YULA never relinquished that lead, beating Posnack by a score of 59-46.
The YULA Panthers jumped out to a 14-5 lead at the end of the first quarter and a 31-17 lead at the half. Noam Meisels and Albert Fallas led the Panthers, scoring 19 and 11 points, respectively.
The Posnack Rams hung in until the very end before YULA finally put them away. Posnack was led by Joshua Schultz’s game-high 23 points.
