In their Tier I Qualifier matchup, the #4 TABC Storm defeated #13 Fasman Yeshiva High School in a 74-32 rout.
The game started with a Gav Castriota layup on Fasman’s opening possession, and Adir Amster drilled a three from way downtown to put Fasman up top 5-0 in the opening minute. It took nearly three minutes before an Akiva Borgen midrange jumper put the Storm on the board. A Yonah Mandel fastbreak layup gave the Storm an 8-7 lead midway through the opening frame, and they did not look back from there, leading 15-9 at the end of the first quarter and 36-15 at halftime.
The Storm showed no signs of slowing down in the second half, ballooning the lead to 48-19 midway through the third quarter off an Eyal Kinderlehrer bucket.

At that point, coach Oz Cross decided to rest his star big, allowing other guys to get into the game for the Storm. TABC led 59-24 after three quarters. Fasman waved the white flag, and TABC cruised its way to a 74-32 final.
Despite sitting for the last 12 minutes of the game, Eyal Kinderlehrer led the Storm with 12 points. He also recorded 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and a block. Yonah Mandel finished with 11 points, while Akiva Borgen grabbed 9 boards.
Ezra Schwartz led Fasman with 10 points, going 2-2 from deep. Adir Lefton grabbed a team-high 3 rebounds.
TABC will square off against #5 SAR in the Tier I Quarterfinal on Friday at 9:00, while Fasman play #19 Farber in the Tier II Quarterfinal on Friday at 11:30 at TABC.
