To begin their run in the tournament, #8 seeded YULA got off to a nice start, knocking off #9 Posnack in a game that they controlled from the start. Look for Noam Meisels, Albert Fallas and Joseph Sassoon to continue carrying the load for the Panthers.
Former Shalhevet superstar Isaac Goor has been hyped about this Shalhevet team all season. As his roommate, he has been non-stop bragging to me about their impressive wins against powerhouses in Division 1 High School basketball. I personally cannot wait to see them step foot on the court. Zack Muller comes in as the team’s star, looking to lead the Firehawks to back-to-back Sarachek victories. Expect the rest of Shalhevet’s starters to wreak havoc on opposing team’s offenses and defenses as well.
In this highly anticipated matchup of marquee Los Angeles teams, the #8 seeded YULA Panthers will attempt to knock off the top-seeded defending champion Shalhevet Firehawks. Expect a back and forth battle between these two West Coast squads throughout the game, filled with exciting offensive plays and terrorizing defense.
