However, controversy arose as a Fuchs shot initially ruled a two-pointer was changed to a three-pointer, leaving Ramaz trailing by a point coming out of the intermission. Despite Fuchs opening up another cushion, going up 55-44 entering the fourth quarter, their offense faltered, managing only five points in the final frame. The Rams seized the opportunity, mounting a tense comeback, narrowing the gap to 60-59. Despite numerous chances to secure the win in the closing moments, Ramaz couldn't capitalize, allowing Fuchs to narrowly escape and advance to the Tier II semifinals against HAFTR unscathed.
In the winning effort, Nate Jacobs led the way for Fuchs with 23 points , 10 rebounds and four assists, Elisha Pizem had 15 points, while Moshe Jacobs added 11.
