The game started with both teams shooting poorly from the field. Both Ida Crown’s Jonathan Okner and Ramaz’s Caleb Rosenfeld locked down the paint defensively for their teams.
In the second quarter both teams started to hit their shots, and the scoring got going. Ramaz forced the Aces into lots of turnovers leading to easy fast break layups to take the lead 19-18 going into the half.
The second half went similarly to the first quarter with a lot of sloppy offense. The quarter was also very physical, with lots of fighting for rebounds and intense defense.
The Ramaz Rams cracked it open in the fourth quarter hitting two big threes; one by Julius Rubinstein and one by Cy Aminzadeh. The game really came down to who hit the big shots at the end, and Ramaz did that, while Ida Crown did not.
