BIG Sunday Is Almost Here
Ari Roth
March 25th, 2012

We're almost there, people.  Please try to stay calm.  After Opening Thursday, Quarterfinal Friday, and Tier IV Saturday, we stand now on the precipice of BIG Sunday!!! 18 teams will compete to determine the matchups and the stakes for each team on Championship Monday.

This year's slate of games is not short on intrigue.  Both Tier I semifinals feature teams who know all there is to know about each other.  MTA has met SAR three times already this year, and YULA and Shalhevet play every year as well back in Los Angeles.  Even in the Tier II semifinals, we have New Jersey rivals JEC and TABC squaring off for a single spot in their championship game.

No matter which two Tier I teams emerge from BIG Sunday unscathed, the championship will be one to look forward to.  If Shalhevet beats YULA, they could be the lowest seed to ever win Sarachek.  If YULA wins, they will either get a chance to avenge their loss to SAR in last year's championship game in the same game this year, or we get the classic YU-MTA matchup that attracts the loudest crowds Sarachek has to offer.

The best way to catch all the action is to watch in live HD video right here at www.macslive.com, but if you can't watch, you can also follow the action via the audio-only stream or the live scoreboard.  Alternatively, you can follow @macslive on twitter for score updates at the end of each quarter or follow my personal account, @aroth26, where I will be live-tweeting analysis and top plays whenever I have time to watch.

Enjoy BIG Sunday!
